Scott is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and is the founder of Rubycom, having started the business back in 2019.

Specialisms include finance for manufacturing companies, food processing and technology companies in addition to have performed financial improvement and turnaround on many companies throughout his career.

Scott tells us he is an experienced commercial finance director – perhaps you should be the judge of that though! Scott is a doer who gets results and gets things done – some of his character traits include humour and straight blunt talking.

Apparently, Scott is the drummer for the Aberdeen rock band Square Peg (who you can hire for parties, birthdays, gigs etc) and he also plays golf, tennis and cycles. He also supports Elgin City FC who we keep reminding Scott are almost bottom of league 2 – Onwards and upwards!
